Sidney Gish is an American indie-pop singer and songwriter born in 1997 in Randolph, New Jersey. After high school, she moved to Boston to study musical production, where she started crafting her own songs. She made a debut in December 2017 with her full-length album “No Dogs Allowed”. Her release got very good reviews in specialized media like Pitchfork, The Fader, and Stereogum, and in 2019 it won the Album of the Year prize at the 2018 Boston Music Awards. In 2018 she gained notoriety after touring with singer-songwriter Mitski. A year later she made an appearance at SXSW Festival in Austin, for which she earned a spot in NPR’s selection “The Austin 100”. She has been featured in Spotify playlists like “New Music Friday”.
