William DuVall is a musician born on 6th September 1967 in Washington, D.C., United States. He is widely recognized for his role as a rhythm guitarist and co-lead vocalist for the American band Alice in Chains. William replaced the band in 2006 as a replacement for Layne Staley, who had passed away in 2002. He has been involved in recording three albums for the band. These include “Black Gives Way to Blue” in 2009, “The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here” in 2013, and “Rainier Fog” in 2018.
William has also released music as a solo artist. He released his first solo album, titled “One Alone” in October 2019 under the DVL Label. In October 2019, he went on US tour to promote the album. In March and April 2020, he went on a European tour to promote the album as well.
