Slim Jim Phantom is a drummer born on 21st March 1961 in Brooklyn, New York, United States. He is best known for being a member of the Stray Cats band. He is currently playing with the rockabilly band Kat Men. Growing up, Phantom liked listening to jazz and started playing drums when he was 10 years old. He later trained with Mousie Alexander. In the early 1970s, he started playing in bands with his longtime friend Lee Rocker.
Phantom went on to play with other bands before forming Col Parker and releasing an album titled “Rock n Roll Music” in 2001. He has recently been working with the roots-rock band Slim Jim’s Phantom Trio. He also hosts the “Little Steven’s Underground Garage” show. In 2021, he formed a new band with Chris Cheney and Jimmy Barnes.
