72hrs, real name Thomas Mulligan, is an esport gamer born on 26th May 1994 in the United States. He is known for streaming gaming content, mainly Fortnite: Battle Royale, on Twitch and YouTube. He began playing games for fun. He initially started with Dead Daylight, and after getting some encouraging feedback from fans, he decided to delve more into the game and create more engaging and entertaining content. This led him to Twitch, where he streamed the game.
When the game started becoming less popular, he switched to Fortnite. In March 2018, he was invited to join the FaZe Clan by Cloakzy. He says joining the team made him improve his game because of the pressure to want to play more professionally. He left Faze in June 2018 and joined Team Liquid the same month. Faze members welcomed his move to switch to Team Liquid. He still plays with some members of Faze.
