Matt Maher, born as Matthew Guion Maher, on November 10, 1974, in Newfoundland, Canada, is a Canadian contemporary Christian music singer, songwriter, and music producer. Since the release of his first album called The End of the Beginning in 2001, Matt Maher has released nine more albums with three of them reaching the Top 25 Christian Albums Billboard chart. In addition, four of his singles have also reached the Top 25 Christian Songs chart. Throughout the years, he has been nominated for nine Grammy Awards and has been rewarded with the Songwriter of the Year award at the 2015 GMA Dove Awards. Matt Maher has collaborated with major artists such as Jon Foreman and the Needtobreath members Bo and Bear Rinehart.
