Bhavana, real name Karthika Menon, was born on 6th June 1986 in Thrissur, Kerala, India. She is best known for appearing in Kannada and Malayalam films, although she has also been featured in a few Telugu and Tamil films. She started her career in 2002 with the romantic comedy-drama film “Nammal”, for which she won the Kerala State Film Award – Special Mention. The following year, she appeared in the films “Thilakkam”, “CID Moosa”, “Chronic Bachelor”, “Swapnakoodu”, and “Valathottu Thirinjal Nalamathe Veedu”.
In 2004, she appeared in the films “Runway”, “Amrutham”, “Youth Festival”, “Parayam”, “Chihikkatha Chanthu”, and Youth Festival”. Her other notable appearances include “Chess” in 2006, “Chotta Mumbai” in 2007, “Rameswaram” in 2007, “Jayamkondaan” in 2008, “Sugar Alias Jacky Reloaded” in 2009, “Aasal” in 2010, “Romeo” in 2012, “Koothara” in 2014, “Honey Bee 2.5” in 2017, “Tagaru” in 2018, “Inspector Vikram” in 2021, and others.
