Jamie Kimmett Bio
Jamie Kimmett is a Scottish singer and songwriter born in Kilmarnock, Scotland. He was studying to be a pastor in the UK, but ended up deciding to go to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue a Christian music career. He was quickly signed to the label Provident Label Group under Sony. In 2016 he collaborated with Steve Porcaro on Pocaro’s solo album Someday/Somehow and performed on the tracks “Face of a Girl” and “She’s So Shy.” Kimmett released his debut single in 2018 titled “Prize Worth Fighting For.” The song reached number 19 on the Christian Songs chart and number 15 on the Christian Airplay chart. He has since released the singles “Since I Met You” and “Burdens.” Kimmett has toured with the artists and bands, Casting Crowns, Matt Maher, For King & Country, and Zach Williams.
