MISSIO Bio
Missio is a duo from Austin, Texas which was formed in 2015. It is made up of David Butler and Matthew Brue and signed under RCA. Missio released a self-titled EP a year after their formation and they have performed in various venues including the SXSW Festival. Brue has been using the name Missio as a solo artist and he retained the name even after Butler joined in. In 2017, the group signed a contract with RCA Records and in the same year they released “Middle Fingers.” The track peaked at No. 9 of the Alternative Songs chart and in the same year Loner, their debut album, dropped. In the same year, they released the EP Skeletons which had two parts. Part 1 dropped in 2017 and Part 2 followed the following year. In 2019, Missio released another album The Darker Weather//The Better the Man.
