Kishori Shahane is an actress who was born on April 23rd, 1968, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She excelled in her academic pursuits and also had a passion for theatre. She pursued a degree in commerce at Mithibai College, and also participated in a number of plays and skits throughout her time in school and college. In college, she was honoured with the title of Miss Mithabai. She has extensive training in folk dance, and has frequently performed folk ballet for audiences. She did a movie, “Prem Karuya Khullam Khulla,” in Marathi. After starring in more than 20 films in the Marathi language, she continued to work in the film industry. Moreover, her body of work includes titles such as “Hafta Bandh,” “Durga Zhaali Gauri”, “Maherchi Said,” “Wajva Re Wajva,” and “Aadhe Adhure,” amongst others.
