Darren Woodson is a former professional football player who is known for his career with the Dallas Cowboys from 1992 to 2003. Born on 25th April 1969 in Phoenix, Arizona, Woodson attended Maryvale High School, where he played football for their team. He went on to play college football for Arizona State University. He made a name for himself as a fierce hitter with an eye for the game.
Woodson started his professional career with the Dallas Cowboys after being selected in the second round of the 1992 NFL Draft. He played for the Cowboys until 2004. His spell with the Cowboys was successful, and he had to leave because he had sustained a serious injury. He officially announced his exit from football in December 2004, retiring as the all-time leading tackler for the Cowboys with 813 career tackles.
