Daryl Hall is a singer and musician born on 11th October 1946 in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, United States. He is the co-founder and lead vocalist of the pop-rock duo Hall & Oates. Apart from his work with the music duo, he has released five solo albums. These include “Sacred Songs” in collaboration with guitarist Robert Fripp in 1980, “Three Hearts in the Happy Ending Machine” in 1986, “Soul Alone” in 1993, “Can’t Stop Dreaming” in 1996, and “Laughing Down Drying” in 2011.
Daryl has been hosting the online music streaming series “Live from Daryl’s House”. He performs together with other artists in the shows. Aside from music, Daryl is also an actor. He appeared as a guest in the sitcom “Flight of the Conchords” in 2007. In 2009, he appeared as himself in the television series “Z-Rock”. In 2010, Daryl performed alongside music duo Chromeo at the Bonnaroo Music and Aarts Festival.
