George Russell Bio
George Russell, whose full name is George William Russell, is a British professional F1 racing driver who was born on February 15, 1998, in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, England. He began karting in 2006 and by 2009 he became MSA British Champion and British Open Champion. In 2014, he competed in the Formula Renault 2.0 Alps championship after he signed for Koiranen GP. Later that year, he debuted in Formula 4 competing in the BRDC Formula 4 Championship, which he ended up winning.
In 2015 he started competing in Formula Three, where he competed in the FIA European Formula 3 Championship alongside Carlin. In 2016 he signed with ART Grand Prix for the 2017 GP3 Series, in which he ended up in first position. In 2018, he competed with the same team for the FIA Formula 2 Championship, which he also won. He then progressed to race into Formula One, making his debut after signing with Williams Racing in 2019.
