Kadeem Hardison is an American actor and director, born on July 24, 1965, in Brooklyn, NY City, New York. He attended Junior High School 104 in New York with fellow actors Robert Downey Jr., Jon Cryer, and Erica Gimpel. He rose to fame in the 1980s and 1990s for playing Dwayne Wayne in the college sitcom A Different World. He later starred in TV series such as Between Brothers, Abby, Static Shock, Just for Kicks, Everybody Hates Chris, Cult, Love Is_, and many more. From 2015 to 2018, he played Zendaya's onscreen father on the Disney Channel show K.C. Undercover. In 2019, he had a recurring role on the Showtime series Black Monday with Don Cheadle. In 2020, he played Bowser Jenkins on the Netflix series Teenage Bounty Hunters, created by Kathleen Jordan.
