Michael Petzel, popularly known as Shlump, is an electronic dance music producer and DJ born in the United States. He is signed to Liquid Stranger's Wakaan label, where he released the Like a Drug album. He is popular in the California festival circuit and underground bass music scene.
Shlump formed Rude Boy Noize with Trevor Kelly. In June 2017, he played at The Untz Festival at the Mariposa Fairgrounds in Mariposa, California. In 2022, he will be touring at The Homie Collective Campout, Interstellar Festival, Elements Music & Arts Festival, Imagine Music Festival, Lost Lands Music Festival, and Wakaan Music Festival.
He is associated with Bishop, Call Me, Pure Powers, Sarah Hudson, Space Wizard, and Tafa Laylor. His projects have been released via Circus Records, DeadBeats, Deep Dark & Dangerous, and GetDown Records.
