David Hodges is a singer and songwriter born on 5th December 1978 in Little Rock, Arkansas, United States. He is widely recognized for being a member of the American rock band Evanescence. He joined the band in 1999 and released their first single, “Bring Me to Life”, which topped several music charts, including Billboard Top 40. In March 2003, they released the album “Fallen”, which sold more than 16 million copies globally.
After the release of the album, Hodges left the band. He went back to his hometown and started a band called Trading Yesterday. He recruited other members, and within a couple of weeks, they signed with Epic Records. In 2007, they parted ways with Epic, and Hodges and one former bandmate started a new band called The Age of Information. Hodges has also released his solo albums, including “Music Demonstrations Part 1” in 200, “The December Sessions, Vol. 1” in 2022, “Passengers: Sirens EP” in 2014, and others.
