Michael Madsen is an American actor, director, producer, write, photographer, and poet born in Chicago Illinois on September 25, 1957. Madsen has had an extensive career in the Hollywood industry in the last 25 years, he’s written poetry books, acted in over 170 films, released a book of his photography, and was a writer, producer, and director on several productions. He is best known for his roles in Reservoir Dogs, Sin City, Hell Ride, Die Another Day, and Free Willy. His career started in theater as an apprentice in under John Malkovich and also played a role in a production Of Mice and Men. In 1982 he made his debut in film in the movie Against All Hope and went on to be in numerous films and television series, including Thelma & Louise, The Getaway, Man with a Gun, Kill Bill: Volume 1 & 2, Scary Movie 4, Quantum Leap, Vice, Loosies, Magi, Blue Bloods and many more. He has written several poetry books like Beer, Blood & Ashes, When Pets Kill, A Blessing of the Hounds, and several more. He has won multiple awards for his work in film and writing, including a Lifetime Achievement Award, an IFS Film Festival Award, a Hollywood Film Award, among others.
