Kelvin Gastelum Bio
Kelvin Gastelum Encinas (born October 24, 1991) is a professional MMA fighter from the United States. Gastelum has been a UFC fighter since he won The Ultimate Fighter 17. He is ranked #10 in the UFC middleweight rankings as of November 9, 2021.
Gastelum earned a Division III AIA state wrestling championship out of Cibola High School and went on to wrestle at North Idaho College, where he was ranked as high as fifth in the country (NJCAA) as a freshman before deciding to fight professionally in mixed martial arts.
Prior to committing to full-time MMA training, he worked as a bail bondsman.
