Dave Scott Foley is an actor, producer, director, writer, and stand-up comedian born on January 4, 1963, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. His comedy genres include observational, improvisational, character, satire, and surreal humor. He co-founded the offbeat comedy troupe The Kids in the Hall.
He received a nomination for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Writing for a Variety or Music Program at the 1995 Primetime Emmy Awards for The Kids in the Hall. Dave guest-starred in Will and Grace, Scrubs, and Desperate Housewives. He has appeared on The Jeff Richards Show, The Alt Pop Repeat Pop Culture Podcast, and The Night Time Show.
