Sindhu Venkatanarayanan, widely known as Sindhu Vee, is a comedian, writer, and actor born in New Delhi, India, on June 19, 1969. She is an alumna of the University of Delhi, the University of Oxford, McGill University, and the University of Chicago.
She held her debut tour, Sandhog, at the Edinburgh Fringe. It received a nomination for the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Newcomer. Sindhu has appeared on BBC Two’s Live At The Apollo. She made guest appearances on Mock The Week, QI, and Have I Got News For You. In 2020, she starred as Karen in Feel Good and Olivia's Mum in Sex Education on Netflix.
Her acting credits include My Mother's Wedding, The Importance of Being Earnest, and Say My Name. Sindhu was a contestant on Richard Osman's House of Games Night, Pointless Celebrities, and The Lock Inn Pub Quiz. She hosts the Child Labour podcast with Stuart Goldsmith for Radio X and is a regular on The Guilty Feminist podcast with Deborah Frances-White.
