Boogie Ellis is a college basketball player born on December 12, 2000, in San Diego, California, USA. He attended San Diego Mission Bay High, where he graduated as the No. 32 overall recruit, according to 247Sports.com. He was named the San Diego Section Player of the Year. Boogie led the team to the 2018 Open Division title.
He averaged 24 points, six rebounds, and six assists as a junior. He averaged 17.2 points and made 46.0 percent of the shots on the 2018 NIKE EYBL Circuit. Between 2019 and 2021, Boogie played for Memphis, starting in 15 games and averaging 10.2 points per game. He was named to the American Athletic Conference (AAC) All-Tournament team.
In 2021, Boogie was named AAC Co-Sixth Man of the Year. The point guard joined the USC Trojans of the Pac-12 Conference in 2021. His accolades include NIT Champion (2021) and Jordan Brand Classic (2019).
