Reggie Watts Bio
Reggie Watts is the stage name for Reginald Lucien Frank Roger “Reggie” Watts, a German stand-up comedian, actor, and beatboxer. His act is unique and high altitude, looking like a 1980s funk burnout, beatboxing like Bobby McFerrin, and having the voice and delivery of an Oxford English professor. He’s also fluently multi-lingual, and identifies himself as a “disinformationist.”
Reggie Watts has given TED conferences, been part of many TV shows including “Comedy Bang! Bang!” and “Key and Peele,” acted in TV series, created viral videos, and also fronted bands beginning from the 1990s. By the way, there’s no script! He improvises both the comedy and the songs, right there on stage. He just has to get up there and be Reggie Watts, and that’s enough, since he’s a mind-blowing anomaly all by himself.
