Ari David Shaffir is a comedian, actor, podcaster, writer, and producer who was born on February 12, 1974. He is the host and producer of the Skeptic Tank podcast.
Ari David Shaffir was born in New York City, New York, to a Romanian Jewish family. Until Ari was nine years old, the family was nurtured as conservative Jews before moving to Maryland and adopting Orthodox Jewish beliefs.
He's also a regular guest on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast and co-hosts Punch Drunk Sports with Jayson Thibault and Sam Tripoli. He was the creator, host, and producer of the This Is Not Happening television series, which was based on his monthly stand-up show.
