Pierre-Emerick Emiliano François Aubameyang is a professional soccer player born in Laval, France, on June 18, 1989. He spent his youth career at ASL L'Huisserie (1995–1997), Nice (1997–1998), Laval (1998–2001), Bastia (2001–2007), and AC Milan (2007–2008). He made his professional debut for AC Milan in 2008.
From 2011 to 2013, Pierre-Emerick played for Saint-Étienne, scoring 37 goals in 87 appearances. He won the Coupe de la Ligue with the team. He joined Borussia Dortmund in 2013, winning one DFB-Pokal and two DFL-Supercup. Pierre-Emerick made 128 appearances for Arsenal between 2018 and 2022, scoring 68 goals.
He debuted for Gabon national team in 2009. At Arsenal, he won the FA Cup and FA Community Shield. The team was runner-up in the 2017/18 EFL Cup and the 2018/19 UEFA Europa League. Pierre-Emerick received the Commander of the National Order of Merit of Gabon in 2016. His accolades include African Footballer of the Year, Bundesliga Player of the Year, Premier League Player of the Month, and Arsenal Player of the Season Award.
