Jordi Alba Ramos is a professional soccer player born in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Spain, on March 21, 1989. He spent his youth career at Hospitalense (1996–1998), Barcelona (1998–2005), and Cornellà (2005–2006). He joined the Spanish national team in 2011. Jordi played for València CF Mestalla and Gimnàstic de Tarragona.
He spent four years in Valencia before joining Barcelona in July 2012. He won the UEFA European Championship with Spain in 2012. The team emerged as runner-up at the 2013 FIFA Confederation Cup. Jordi has scored 15 goals in 292 matches for Barcelona. At Barca, he won five La Liga, five Copa del Rey, three Supercopa de España, one UEFA Champions League, and one FIFA Club World Cup.
Jordi was in the Spain squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia. The left-back has appeared on UEFA European Championship Team of the Tournament (2012), UEFA Champions League Team of the Season (2014/15), La Liga Team of the Season (2014/15), and ESM Team of the Year (2017/18, 2018/19).
