Kelly Overton Bio
Kelly Overton is an American actress who was born on August 28, 1978, in Wilbraham, Massachusetts. She attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City and graduated with the highest honor receiving the Charles Jehlinger Award. She debuted on the screen in 2000 when she appeared on the tv series “All My Children” as Rain Wilkins. She appeared in other tv shows including “The Practice”, “The Division”, “The Studio”, and “Three Rivers”. She played Betsy in the 2005 horror movie “The Ring 2” starring Naomi Watts and David Dorfman. In 2008 she wrote, directed, and starred in the movie “The Collective” alongside Laura Allen and Shane McRae. For this project, she was awarded at three film festivals: Brooklyn International, Fort Collins TriMedia, and Mexico International Film Festivals. The following year she starred in the comedy “Under New Management” opposite Chris Diamantopoulos and in 2010 she starred in the action film “Tekken” alongside Jonathan Patrick Foo. She is also known for playing Vanessa Van Helsing in 2016 series “Van Helsing”.
