The Linda Lindas Bio

The Linda Lindas is an American all-female musical quartet that was formed in 2018 in Los Angeles, California, United States. The band was named after Blue Heart’s 1987 single Linda, Linda. The members of the group are Bela Salazar (guitar, vocals), Eloise Wong (bass, guitar, vocals) and sisters Lucia de la Garza (guitar, vocals) and Mila de la Garza (drums, vocals).

The quartet managed to land support gigs with Bleached, Best Coast and even riot grrl legends Bikini Kill in 2019. After they opened for Bikini Kill, actor/director Amy Poehler chose them to appear in her 2021 film Moxie. The group also released their self-titled debut EP and in 2020 the contributed a song to the 2020 Netflix documentary The Claudia Kishi Club. They released a music video for their song Racist, Sexist Boy which was played in the May 2021 Los Angeles Public Library gig that went viral. They released the single Oh! in July that year.
