Nadine Petra Katarina Shah was born on January 16, 1986 in Whitburn, South Tyneside, England. She started out by releasing two EPs, Aching Bones in 2012 and Dreary Town in 2013. Her first album was released in 2013 by Ben Hillier and was titled Love Your Dum And Mad. This album was inspired by the death of two of her close friends who both committed suicide.
She released her second album, also with Ben Hillier, titled Fast Food in 2015. Ghostpoet, another popular British musician, allowed her to collaborate with him on two of his songs for his album Shedding Skin, which was also released in 2015. Her most recent album, titled Holiday Destination, was released in the Fall of 2017. Other than her music, she also speaks at conferences regarding mental health and psychological disorders because she feels strongly about eliminating the stigma against those who are psychologically ill.
