Scottish actor Dougray Scott was born on 25th November 1965 in Glenrothes, Scotland. He studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where he received the Most Promising Student Award. He started his career with the TV series, ‘Soldier Soldier.’ His debut film was ‘Twin Town.’ He bagged major roles in the films, ‘Ever After,’ and ‘Enigma.’ His work was noticed by Hollywood actor Tom Cruise, who recommended him to play a negative role in ‘Mission Impossible 2.’ Scott has appeared in the third season of ‘Desperate Housewives.’ In 2007, he delivered a stellar performance as the antagonist in ‘The Hitman.’ Other films and TV series to his credit are, ‘Dr.Jekyll and Mr. Hide,’ ‘New Town Killers,’ ‘Love’s Kitchen,’ ‘Death Race 3: Inferno,’ ‘Last Passenger,’ ‘The Wrong Mans,’ ‘Harley and the Davidsons,’ ‘Snatch,’ and ‘Irvine Welsh’s Crime,’ He has been nominated for the Teen Choice Awards, AFI Awards and Astra Awards for his work.
