Born on August 3, 1940, Martin Sheen or legally known as Ramon Antonio Gerard Estevez, came from Dayton, Ohio, USA. His parents are Mary-Ann and Francisco Estevez. He appeared in over 65 feature films including 1979’s “Apocalypse Now.” He received a Tony Award nomination for the Broadway classic “The Subject Was Roses” in 1986. He also won multiple Emmy and Golden Globe Awards.
In 2006, he starred on the Academy Award winning film “The Departed.” Martin Sheen is also known for his television series “The West Wing” for the role President Josiah Bartlett. He was six-time nominated for the series. Sheen won an Emmy for 1988’s “Murphy Brown.” He is the father of Charlie Sheen.
