Born in Boston, Massachusetts, United States, Sean McConnell is an American country music and folk singer-songwriter hailed for his passionate personality that he strings into his music. McConnell was born into a family of artists and hence was introduced to music at an early age. Building upon the talent deep in his blood, he started writing songs and self-released his debut album Here in the Lost and Found in 2000 followed by 200 Orange St in 2003. Between 2006 and 2014, he released three more albums including Saints. Thieves. Liars., Cold Black Sky, and Midland. He also released two EPs titled The Walk Around and The B-Side Session. While his singing impressed the most in the music circle, it was his song-writing skills that pushed him to success. He has written songs for the likes of Tim McGraw, Martina McBride, Meat Loaf, the Plain White T's, and many more. McConnell's latest album Secondhand Smoke was released in 2019 by Big Picnic Records.
