Leon Bridges is an American soul singer, songwriter, and record producer born in Atlanta, Georgia on July 13, 1989. He is best known for his song “Coming Home.” Bridges started his career playing open-mics around Fort Worth, Texas. In 2014 he was signed with the record label Columbia Records. He released his debut studio album titled Coming Home in 2015. The album charted at number 6 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart and also charted in a number of other countries. In 2018 he released his second studio album titled Good Thing. His second studio album charted at number 3 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart. Bridges has also released an EP titled Louisiana Sun. In 2019 he won a Grammy Award for Best Traditional R&B Performance for his song “Bet Ain’t Worth the Hand.”
