Pierfrancesco Favino Bio
Pierfrancesco Favino is an award-winning Italian actor and producer best known for his work in film and television. He was born in Rome, Lazio, Italy, on August 24, 1969. Favino began his acting career in the early 1990s when he appeared in the films Pugili, Tutti i giorni sì, and A Private Affair. He has since had a decorated career, with a filmography that boasts the blockbusters World War Z, Angels & Demons, Night at the Museum, Rush, and Miracle at St. Anna, but he is best known for starring in the action-adventure film The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian alongside Ben Barnes, Skandar Keynes, Georgie Henley, William Moseley, and Anna Popplewell. Although he is best known for his work in film, Favino has been a regular on the TV series Marco Polo, Amico mio 2, and Amico mio. He has won multiple awards including three David di Donatello Awards for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor, an Italian Golden Globe Award for Best Actor, and a Volpi Cup Award at the Venice Film Festival for Best Actor.
