Timber Timbre is a folk music project that was formed in the city of Toronto, province of Ontario, Canada. Mika Posen, Simon Trottier, and Taylor Kirk all contributed to the project in different capacities. “Cedar Shakes,” the band's self-titled debut album, was released in 2006, and was recorded in Ontario. “Medicinals,” their newest album, was released in the same year. Both "The Gambler" and "Cruel and Unusual" were released as soundtrack albums in 2014. Moreover, in 2020, "The Stand" soundtrack was made available to the public on streaming services. Their other work includes, “La misma nota forever” “Timbre: Sewer Blues,” “Sincerely, Future Pollution,” “Grifting,” and Velvet Gloves & Spit.” In total, the band has contributed to over 22 different soundtracks and eight compositions.
