Chris Renzema is a songwriter and performer born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1996. Renzema learned how to sing while he was attending churches when he was growing up. He is known for his acoustic/folk sound that intertwines his Christian faith with his music. With fellow artist Moriah Hazeltine, Renzema released his first EP, Age to Age. The year after, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee, to pursue a music career. He released his first solo album, I’ll Be the Branches, in 2018, which he followed up by his second album, Let the Ground Rest, in 2020. Renzema has released several hit singles, including Springtime, How to Be Yours, and I Don’t Wanna Go.
