Lil Silva is an English DJ, electronic music producer, singer and songwriter. He was born Tyrone Jermaine Carter in 1991, in Bedford, Bedfordshire, England. His interest in music started at a young age, as he was born in a family of musicians. Before being ten years old, Carter had already recorded and produced several songs. He started performing as a DJ at age thirteen. His first official release was the single “Seasons/ Funky Flex” He released several singles under the Good Years label before he started producing other artists. His major breakthrough as a producer came when he produced R&B singer Banks’ “This Is What It Feels Like”, as well as her album “Goddess”. Carter has also worked with Adele on her album “25”, besides having several collaborations with artists like Damon Albarn and SBTRKT.
