Shane Gillis Bio
Shane Gillis is a comedian born on 11th December 1987 in Pennsylvania, United States. He is best known for being a co-host on the “Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast”. Gillis started his career as a comedian in 2012. He performed regularly in his home in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He later moved to Philadelphia to further his career. He participated in the Helium Club’s annual “Philly’s Phunniest” competition, where he finished second.
The following year, he tried his luck in the competition for the second time and won it. In 2016, he started the “Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast” with standup comedian Matt McCluster. In September 2019, it was announced that Gillis would be added to Saturday Night Live as a featured cast member. In January 2020, he was named the Stand-Up Comedian of the Year. In September 2021, he released a live comedy special titled “Shane Gillis: Live in Austin” on YouTube.
