Ashlyn Michelle Harris is a professional soccer player born on October 19, 1985, in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Harris plays as a goalkeeper. Harris began playing soccer when she was young. She was recruited to play for the University of North Carolina, where she helped the team win three NCAA championships. Harris first played professionally in 2010 for the Washington Freedom. She played for the Western New York Flash and the Washington Spirit before transferring to the Orlando Pride in 2016. Harris has been part of the National Women’s team since she was 16. As the youngest starter in the team, she helped the team win the 2002 FIFA U-19 Women’s World Cup. Harris and her team won the FIFA Women’s World Cup twice, in 2015 and 2019.
