Jim Cummings is an American voice actor. He was born James Jonah Cummings on the 3rd of November, 1952, in Youngstown, Ohio, U.S. He started his career by voicing a character in “Dumbo’s Circus”. It was the beginning of a fructiferous relationship with Disney, as he worked in more than 15 Disney productions over his career. He has credits in “Aladdin”, “Pinocchio” in which he did Geppetto voice, Anastasia, and many other classical Disney movies. In 1994, he replaced Jeremy Irons to portray Scar in “The Lion King”. He is also known for having given voice to Winnie the Pooh in the movies “Pooh’s Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin”, “The Tigger Movie”, “The Book of Pooh: Stories from the Heart”, and many others. Cummings was nominated at the 2013 Annie Awards for Best Voice Acting in an Animated Feature Production, for his work in the movie “Zambezia” directed by Wayne Thornley.
