Actress Emmy Raver-Lampman, born September 5th 1988 in Norfolk, Virginia, began her career in musical theater. Emmy studied at performing arts high school, Governor's School for the Arts and Marymount Manhattan College. She appeared in various performances and touring productions including Children of Eden, Hair, A Night with Janis Joplin, Jekyll & Hyde, and Wicked. Raver-Lampman landed a role in the Broadway sensation, Hamilton. She was a part of the original ensemble cast, and became an understudy for all three of the lead female roles: Angelica, Eliza, and Peggy/Maria Reynolds. She joined the show’s first national tour as Angelica. Emmy appeared in Odd Mom Out, Blindspotting, A Million Little Things, American Dad!, Jane the Virgin, Robot Chicken, Stucco, and aTypical Wednesday; before landing her breakout role as Allison Hargreeves in The Umbrella Academy.
