Alexandra Savior McDermott is an American singer and songwriter who performs indie-pop and psychedelic rock music. She was born in Portland, Oregon, United States, on June 14, 1995. Alexandra began her music career in 2013 when she signed her first record deal, and she released her debut single Shades in 2016. Her discography includes the hit singles Girlie, Crying All the Time, Cupid, Can’t Help Myself, and the albums The Archer and Belladonna of Sadness. Her music was featured in the album for the HBO series True Detective alongside fellow artists Leonard Cohen, John Paul White, Bob Dylan, and The Handsome Family.
