Caleb Lee Hutchinson Bio
Caleb Lee Hutchinson (born March 2, 1999 in Dallas, Georgia) is an American traditional, contemporary, and progressive country singer and songwriter most renowned for appearing on the talent show, The Voice (Season 9) and American Idol (Season 16).
At age 12, Hutchinson learned to play the guitar. After which he started writing his own songs. Soon, he began to perform in and around Atlanta, and he opened shows for T. Graham Brown, The Kentucky Headhunters, and Bo Bice.
In 2015, he auditioned for Season 9 of The Voice but did not make it far. He rose to stardom after competing in season 16 of American Idol where he was the runner up.
At age 19, he made his first major label single "Johnny Cash Heart" which charted number 16 on the Country Digital Song Sales chart. In June 2019, he released the eponymous EP, Caleb Lee Hutchinson, featuring production by Sugarland's Kristian Bush.
