Heartless Bastards is a rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio. The band was formed in 2003, and it includes Erika Wennerstrom (singer, guitarist & songwriter, David Colvin (drummer), Adam McAllister (bassist), and Michael Weinel (lead guitarist). Their first live show was at a Cincinnati bar called Comet. Later on, McAllister, Colvin, and Weinel left the band and were replaced by Mike Lamping (bassist) and Kevin Vaughn (drummer).
In 2004, the group signed with Fat Possum Records, and a year later, they released their debut album “Stairs and Elevators.” The album became an instant hit. In 2009, the band released their third album titled “The Mountain.” They appeared on David Letterman’s Late Show as musical guests on 10th February 2009. The group released their fourth album titled “Arrow” in 2012, followed by a fifth album titled “Restless Ones” in 2015.
