Jodeci Bio
The American R&B group Jodeci consists of DeVanté Swing, Mr. Dalvin, K-Ci, and JoJo. The members of Jodeci, a band that was founded in 1989 in Charlotte, North Carolina, started out as two sibling duos before coming together after seeing only little success for a number of years. The trio started working on their first album, Forever My Lady, after signing with Uptown Records in 1991. The album's title track and the Billboard Hot 100 song "Come and Talk to Me" helped the album become a popular success. The Show, The After Party, The Hotel, Jodeci's third album, was released in July 1995. It reached number one on Billboard's R&B chart and achieved platinum status, much like the group's previous two albums. Timbaland confirmed in 2014 that he was writing songs for Jodeci's upcoming fourth album. Timbaland and DeVante co-produced two songs for The Past, The Present, The Future, which was released by RCA in 2015.
