ABBA Bio
ABBA is a popular Swedish pop supergroup, formed in Stockholm, back in 1972. The group’s name is an acronym of their first names with those being Agnetha Faltskog, Bjorn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, which are the original members of ABBA who have formed the group. They released their debut album in 1973, named Ring Ring, and since then, they have been a major influence in pop culture. ABBA have released eight albums in total. They are famous for winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974. The group disbanded in 1982, after which they released a compilation named ABBA Gold, which became a worldwide bestseller. In 2018, ABBA have decided to begin producing music once again. ABBA was introduced in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010.
