Joey Batey Bio
Joey Batey, a British actor, was born on January 1st, 1989 in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. Before joining the Royal Shakespeare Company, he attended the University of Cambridge to study Modern and Medieval Languages. Joey performs as a guitarist, singer, and songwriter for the alt-folk group The Amazing Devil. Ruin, their most recent album, was released in October 2021. The White Queen, Knightfall, and The Witcher are just a few of the television programmes for which the British actor is most known for his recurrent parts. He is also well-known for his theatre performances, which have included roles in Broadway and West End versions of Bring up the Bodies and Wolf Hall, respectively. His participation in the Tony Award-winning production of Wolf Hall is another notable accomplishment. Additionally, he appeared in the 2019 television series The Witcher starring Henry Cavill and Freya Allan.
