Joey Savatgy, a professional motocross racer from the United States, was born there on February 19, 1994. He joined the Millsaps Training Facility in 2005 and began his amateur career there. He won the FIM 125cc Junior World Motocross Championship in 2011 after being named the AMA Youth Motocrosser of the Year in 2008. He has four career 250SX Class victories and 15 podium finishes in the 250SX Class. 2013 Monster Energy Supercross Rookie of the Year went to him. In 2015, he made his racing team debut with the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki outfit. It is well known that the motocross racer placed second in the 2016 250cc Supercross West Championship. He finished on the podium three times overall and won three big races in the same year.
