Jessie Ware is an English singer and songwriter, as well as a podcaster. She was born Jessica Lois Ware, on the 15th of October, 1984, in London, England. She started her musical career doing back vocals for Jack Peñate and Man Like Me. She made her first collaboration in 2010, with SBTRKT on the single “Nervous”, soon followed by “Valentine” alongside Sampha, released through Young Turks. She signed with PMR Records and in 2011 she was a guest vocalist in the album “Ceremonials” by Florence and The Machine. In 2011, she released her first solo single “Strangest Feeling” and a year later, she released her debut album “Devotion” which reached number 5 in the UK Album Chart. Her second album “Though Love” was released in 2014, and it reached number 9 in the UK Albums Charts, while her third studio album “Glasshouse” released through Island Records, peaked at number seven on the same chart.
