220 KID began his life on May 8, 1989, in Oxfordshire, England, as William Edward Graydon. Growing up with a dad who works in the music industry, Graydon always wanted to make a career in music. Instead, he went to university pursuing a degree in Biology. He went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a master’s degree in sustainability. His path in a more traditional career changed when two people close to him passed within months of each other. Since then, he decided to follow his heart’s calling and began his career as a musician. He has since written multiple singles and collaborated with artists like Gracey and JC Stewart. His 2019 single with Gracey, Don’t Need Love, was certified platinum by the British Phonography Industry and reached the top 10 of UK Singles, and was nominated for The 2021 British Single at The Brit Awards.
