Tiana Thomas-Ambersley, better known as Tiana Major9, is a British singer-songwriter from London, England. She was born on November 22, 1995, and is presently signed to Motown.
She was born and bred in Newham, England, in a Jamaican family, listening to and singing gospel at church since the age of five. She studied music at City and Islington College before embarking on a career in it. She rose to prominence in her own country after being named a finalist in MOBO's UnSung competition in 2014.
Tiana Major9 released the singles "Merry Go," "Levee (Let It Break)," and "Mr. Mysterious" between 2017 and 2018. Rehearsal @ NINE, her debut EP, was released on January 25, 2019. She also performed on Stormzy's album on the song "Rainfall," as well as the Queen & Slim soundtrack on the song "Collide," which was nominated for a Grammy Award. After signing with Motown, she released her second EP, At Sixes And Sevens, on August 7, 2020.
