Born on April 21, 1951, Anthony Salvatore Iadanza came from Brooklyn, New York City, New York, USA. His parents are Anne Cammisa and Matty Iadanza. He received a wrestling scholarship in the University of Dubuque, Iowa. He got a Bachelor’s degree in education. Later before teaching, he had a job as a professional boxer. He entered the New York Golden Gloves in 1975. He had a record of 9-3 with nine knockouts. However, he retired from boxing and went to do acting.
He first got featured on “Taxi” which earned him place in television history. He got a starring role for the ABC comedy “Who’s the Boss?” in 1984. He got an Emmy nomination for his guest-starring role for “The Practice” in 1997. He soon went to films and Broadway because of his love in performing.
